MERIT AWARD in my first international juried art show!
I’m so thrilled to receive a merit award for my watercolor painting Hellebores, in my first ever international art show with the theme “Flower”. Out of several hundred contestants, 289 artists from 38 countries won in one of six prize categories. Cash prize money awarded to 92 winning artists. I was in the top 12! Yay! Encore Players of Livermore presents "The Language of the Holidays" at the Civic Center Library, Livermore on Thursday December 8, 7:00pm - 8:00pm - Cultural Traditions Around the World, I will talk about Diwali!The Livermore Public Library will host the Encore Players, Livermore’s community theatre group, on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Civic Center Library Storytime Room (1188 S. Livermore Ave.) as they present The Language of the Holidays: Cultural Traditions Around the World.
Community members of all ages are invited to attend this colorful program featuring a diverse cast and holiday traditions and customs from around the world. Attendees will learn about Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, and Tet (Vietnamese New Year) while exploring holiday traditions from the Philippines, Mexico, Germany, Ireland, and Alaska. I will present a little something about the Indian Festival of Lights - DIWALI! |

I am so happy to enter three watercolor paintings "Foxgloves & Violas", "The Sentinel at Zion" and "Dawn at Zion" as part of Imagination Expressed 2022, an art show collaboration between the Pleasanton Art League and the Museum on Main. I am grateful to the museum for carrying my paintings, cards, giclee prints and calendars in the Gift Shop!

I've had the honor of working with a wonderful French Poet from Dublin, Marie-Anne Pourdet, and together we have created art and poetry that are displayed at Livermore's Bankhead Theater as part of the show titled "Double Take." This was one of the most unique and beautiful collaborations I've been a part of! Enjoy this beautiful show where art and literature come together!
